"My husband and I stayed at The Chatwal Lodge (about two hours from NYC) and it’s easily one of the best resorts we’ve been to. It feels incredibly private and secluded—it seemed like there were only ~20 guests on property—so the whole experience was calm and special. "The stay was exactly what we expected. The bed was hard though."

"Room was so bright with outside deck and intermittent car lights from parking lot. Property is run down and a mess. Bathroom had 4 lights over the mirror with 2 of them burned out. A box of Kleenex would have been a luxury. There was a dead bug in the medicine cabinet. You could clearly hear everything in the adjoining rooms. "

"It was just as expected but fair warning: no ride shares in the area so if you’re looking to get sauced at a restaurant nearby pack some walking shoes. Also the tap water runs less than clear, leaving dark specks of grit in the sink. Kinda nasty. Rinse after brushing with a bottle of water or something. Shower seemed ok though. Good parking situation."

"The Inn is in a great location for those traveling 81E and need a place to spend the night. The room was comforable and provided us a good nights rest. There's also a nice diner next door that we walked to and purchased breakfast before hitting the road again. The room was clean, and check-in was easy. "

"Very disappointed not to be allowed to use the Pool on day of check out. It was literally empty & they wouldn't look at me in for like an hour before we got in the Road. Bad ending to a nice stay."
