"Comfortable Stay with a Few Unusual Design Choices We enjoyed our stay at Silver Fern Rotorua Suites & Spa. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it a pleasant base for exploring Rotorua. The location was convenient for sightseeing, restaurants, and the area’s geothermal attractions. Our suite was spacious and accommodated our family of three comfortably, although the layout was unconventional. The queen bed was located in the main living...

"The room was well thought out and worked well for us. The kitchenette was nice, though we didn't cook. The bathroom seemed like it had been updated recently. Our only issue was that it was quite cold in the room and we couldn't make the heat work. There is on-site parking which is always helpful."

"Lovely staff but whole place needs refurbishing and modernising. Tired furniture and carpets. Great shower!"

"The room was very nice, clean. Had a small refrigerator, microwave, enough dishes and utensils. The only issue was trying to lock the door to the room- key was difficult, at times"

"Good all around"

"Our room unfortunately was not good. Black on the ceiling in bathroom, no milk in fridge, holes in bedspread, burn mark holes in kitchenette countertop. The worst part was that we discovered there were no towels in our room and the office was closed with no number displayed to call. I'm glad we only stayed one night and if the office were open or a number to call I would have complained at the time and requested a new room."

"Everything at a walking distance, comfort place for family and clean place. We can do a simple cooking. The management is so efficient and concern the green environment with their heart. Sure will come back again if I there is an opportunity. Congratulation what a Good job!"

"Really clean and comfortable. Modern and everything thought of."

"In the 21st century hot water should not be too much to ask. Also the heater did not work."

"Good"

"Very comfortable bed, great shower pressure and lovely quiet location with wonderful staff & management"

"Location was convenient. Parking was fine. Room smelled bad and we didn’t want to touch the old nappy pillows on the couch. The bottom floor smelled bad, which I assume was from the carpet. The toilet base was dirty and there was mold on the shower curtain. Beds upstairs were clean and had a good 2 nights rest although the apartment was ccld even with the heater turned up. It was roomy and there was a playground. I guess it would be okay for a family with young kids"
