"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We needed somewhere easy to stay after our Hobbiton tour and this ended up being an amazing spot. Our room had a lovely balcony with a tree view. The hotel feels brand new and is very well managed. I wish I had gotten her name, but the manager was so helpful and when she heard we were heading north took the time to show us how to pre-pay the toll (which we didn’t even know existed) online. The included breakfast was also great. We would book here...

"Love the 20s-vibe of the furnishings and the vastness of its rooms - even the smallest room has space for an extra bed or two! The larger rooms are like a suite! And being central its great for restaurants and cafes just outside the door. This is our go-to hotel in the Tron every time :) "

"The property is beyond tired, I'd guess it is primarily used for social housing. Did not feel safe for 2 female travelers. We considered going to the warehouse to purchase new bedding. In the end we stayed with other friends. The man that checked us in was polite. Would not recommend under any circumstance."

"2pm check in mean 2pm couldn't get in room until 2.45pm and still clean guy in my room. No Sky Tv. Area unsafe. Off license motel. People stay here mouths i am thinking too. Lady lock out motel and worng number on wall needs cell number. Pillows old. Parking only 8 parks too."

"The hotel gave us an accessible room as it was the last standard room available however we were not told on Expedia this is the room we were booking. This room is at the back of hotel, ground floor and surrounded by the car park with metal stair case next to the room. It was noisy, lacked privacy (had to close curtains in the day time) and a little shabby. The only way we could move was pay for an upgrade. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean with a nice shower in the bathroom. However, the parking area was tight and difficult to back out when filled. I would recommend to the owners to put more hooks in the rooms for coats, towels etc. Also, have more than one small rubbish bin. "

"The room was very neglected & needs completely refurbishing. The springs could be felt through the sheets on the double bed mattress. The fridge freezer was noisy & in the bedroom area. All the paintwork was chipped & worn & the bathroom vanity stained & old. Flooring in the bathroom was marked, dirty & lifting in places. I've stayed in many places & thought this was very overpriced for the conditions. It looks like the room has never been redecorated since the motel was built. "

"Air conditioning good. Bathroom.ckean but very dated and very small. Bed good. Toom small. Should be complimentary water in the fridge. Didn't use bar. Breakfast was good. Was not happy to pay for valet parking even though the valet service was good. "

"There are no check-in staff at the motel, so you have to check-in at a different hotel and then come here. That guy was pretty nice and friendly though. The shower had a tiny drain and no shower tray, so the bathroom completely flooded, even with a short shower. There is not stove or anything in the "kitchen". There was a leak coming from behind the fridge too, so a constant pool of water on the floor. It was pretty noisy with other guests making noise and no staff to do anything about it."

"I didn't know that there is no staff onsite and that reception is at a different motel that is further than walking distance away. I found this out after I booked. The lights on the outside of the building and lack of good curtains meant that room 1 was not dark at night. I asked to be moved which the staff were happy to oblige. "So close to FMG stadium and town. Good parking, comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, well stocked kitchen and decent cooktop. Staff were really helpful."
