However, I requested a statement from the front desk person and was told that I'd receive a statement from a third-party provider via email. This statement never came. Today (5/16) I discovered a suspicious $50 pending charge from Holiday Inn on my credit card despite having fully prepaid my entire stay through Expedia. Nothing was said at check-in about additional charges - I asked - nor was I told that there would be a hold on my credit card (if that's what this is) upon check-in."
