The bathroom in the deluxe room was a bit odd in terms of how the toilet was set relative to the shower but it was fine. The location relative to the temples and the main ghats of the river Ganges is ok but definitely not close enough to walk in few minutes. However, the price is definitely way too high for the location, type of rooms and the service. The quality of the duvet cover and bed covers was not...

"I went on a solo trip to Banaras and booked my stay at Gangotri. The hospitality truly surprised me. The owner and staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I was really impressed with the facilities. The room was clean and hygiene was well maintained, which made me feel comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Banaras — it’s totally worth it!"
