"This was the worst motel/ hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathrooms are falling apart and my tub wouldn’t drain. After a three minute shower I’m standing in 4-6 inches of water. The AC unit was maybe 25 years old and wouldn’t cool down the room the slightest. The windows were original and barely opened. Couldn’t open fully for fear of breaking it. The pillows are completely flat, the mattress is stiff as a board in both beds. The rooms are clustered together and the parking situation is awful....

"All the properties in this town are older - it's an old town. The owners were great family run. Water was hot. And quiet! Would stay again."

"I'm afraid Boulder Lodge is taking advantage of its impressive lake views to charge a bit more than is justified. It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge.
