"Directly facing a very noisy highway. I barely had any sleep as semi trucks passing by every 5 minutes. But it is kinda inevitable in this small town since all hotels are near the highway. Not recommended to stay in Lee Vining at all."

"This is a good place if you plan to be out most of the time. The location is great, close to everything. The breakfast was good and useful in the mornings before the hikes. The kitchen staff was nice and friendly. There is no elevator on the property; be prepared to carry everything and leave nothing in your car. There is an active bear population. If you are staying for an extended period, you need to request that your room be cleaned or that you receive clean towels. The television cannot...

"Great location within the center of town. Staff was very efficient. Water bottle refill station in the the lobby was a great amenity. The room was clean with comfortable beds, although a little warm, but the fan provided made it fine for sleeping."

"I think lake view lodge is the most significant lodge in Lee Vining with its history and the beautiful setting among other hotel/motels. Really loved the garden on site and Basin cafe, we stayed one night, and had dinner breakfast and lunch at Basin cafe the food is huge quantity with good quality. We will come back if visit Lee Vining again !"

"Our stay at Sierra House was great. We were visiting over the July 4th holiday and stayed in their new buildings. The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated.
