"Monopoly is a city set inside an old Fortress beside the sea . There are still the old cannons set on the ramparts. La Porta Vecchia is a lovely old building which as been done up to an excellent standard. The breakfast was very good and loads to pick from. On a night you could have a great fish dish or pitsa at the local taverna's."

"Not so good as I thought. The room was nice but nothing more and a/c was broken, moreover there was so much humidity that the bed sheets were almost wet. Breakfast is very good, but again not in line with the high expectations deriving from past reviews. Good basecamp to explore alberobello, castellana caves and monopoli/polignano but cost/quality balance is just average."
