"The hotel does have covered parking. It's located next to the hotel, and is limited in that they only have 17 spaces; plus it's an additional 15 euros per day and a city tax to utilize the parking. Parking is in the Volterra's limited traffic zone (ZTL). Contact the hotel if you desire parking, be sure to give them your car plate number so you don't get fined driving into the restricted zone. The rooms were clean but modest. The floors in the hallways and rooms are tile and you do get noise...

Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das wenn man am Wochenende anreist, das Hotelrestaurant im voraus reservieren muss, ansonsten muss man außerhalb Essen gehen, da dieses ausgebucht war."

The staff was super helpful, very kind and serviceable, i mean really really really nice. The room was a little tight for 4, but the bathroom was huge! All super clean, really impeccable. "This place is at the center of everything, that being said, to get there is a hike! We parked outside the city walls and walked to the hotel, since we spent only one night we only carried a backpack and we left everything in the car. Dragging a suitcase it’s not a smart move. The hotel Is beautiful and we got a room with a wonderful view. Bed was comfortable and everything spotless. We really enjoyed the convenience of being able to go in and out to the center as we needed a break from walking....

"We had a blast, and the proprietors were fantastic. They had plenty of local knowledge and seemed to have a real passion for what they do. Plus the venue is wonderful, and they have the best patio with views of the Tuscan hills. Would recommend, and would stay again."

"Staff was friendly, property location is beautiful- The internet didn’t work in our room or side of the resort and the food was less than ideal, the food options were limited. After spending 10 days in other parts of Italy (sorento and Florence) and hotels, this was probably our least favorite."
