A Divine Getaway!

A truly amazing getaway that was beyond expectations from beginning to end! The owners are extraordinary and attentive to every need. The hotel is impeccably decorated, and the grounds and pool are an oasis - like a European retreat! This is a five-star experience; we can’t wait to return. We were looking for a quiet, clean and exquisite stay, and were beyond thrilled with our experience!

We don’t typically stay in Inns but this time we decided to spoil ourselves. Manoir Chamberland far exceeded our expectations! Of course, the rooms were gorgeous but what made it really special were the hosts Ross and Dominique and the property itself. As an architecture lover, it was fantastic to hear Ross describe all of details and historical pieces that had been included in the restoration of the building. The gardens were also well designed and were wonderful to explore after our swim. Great collection of day lilies! For both mornings, breakfast was delicious. Dominique’s attention to details is seen not only in the food ingredients and chosen recipes themselves but in the presentation. If only I could eat like that every morning! We highly recommend this place and we will go back for sure next time we are in Montebello!

Dominique and Ross are wonderful hosts and the property is beautiful and in a great location. We had room 11 which was lovely and cozy, but we require a bigger bed. We will ask for a king room when we return. Also important to note that booking through 3rd party platforms like expedia does not include the breakfast. We paid out of pocket and the brunch was excellent.

Gorgeous house and surrounding property. Beautiful pool, personal service from the owners - even met us in the parking lot to assist with our luggage. Well appointed room with comfortable bed and top notch towels and linens. Breakfast was delicious and served on the deck, over looking the pool area. In summary, excellent experience if you are looking for a boutique five star accommodation.

Manoir Chamberland is a real gem of a place. Just 90 minutes away from Ottawa, it was the perfect staycation escape for me and my wife for a couple of days. The lazy elegance of Montobello is captured beautifully in this renovated heritage hotel by Dominique and Ross. The hotel is beautiful inside and out with designer appointments. The gardens are beautiful. We went in spring so could not enjoy the pool but pool side dining seemed inviting. The best part of our stay was a three course breakfast. It was as unique as it was delicious. Ross and Dominque made the whole experience very relaxing and memorable for us. We will definitely visit again.

Le lieux est tellement beau ainsi que ma chambre. Tout était parfait. Belle piscine creusée chauffée avec Spa. Le déjeuner est excellent! Le bar très sympathique. Propriétaire sur place. J’y retournerai c’est certain. Ma fille s’est mariée a Montebello et le Manoir nous as vraiment bien accommodé pour prendre les photos sur leur superbe terrain. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Little Getaway

Tried this destination out for the first time and was not disappointed. Ross and Dominic are incredible hosts - attentive and caring. The property is beautiful, peaceful and quiet - the pictures do not do it justice. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Superbe et excellent!!!

Un sejour TRES agreable dans un cadre superbe. Ross et Dominique ont fait de ce mannoir un petit bijou de qualite et de beaute. Chambre impeccable avec un soin particulier pour les details et l'equipement et superbe bar "dans son jus" avec un large choix de boissons alcoholisees ou pas. Et cerise sur le gateau, un magnifique et tres fin petit dejeuner servi de maniere impeccable avec nappe blanche et tres belle porcelaine porcelaine(anglaise) Bravo. Marc
