Place not even in business anymore.

After a long day of walking we arrived at the hotel to find it was out of business and looked like it had been for a long time. Hotels.com may want to be a little more selective about the establishments they partner with and at least make sure they are in business. VERY UNHAPPY!!!

Für eine Nacht o.k.

Eher Herberge denn Hotel: Das Haus sollte dringend renoviert werden (Gerüst steht bereits). Unser Zimmer war kark und mit deutlich altem Mobilar bestückt. Bad/WC gerade noch hinnehmbar. Unser Glück - Fenster zum Tal hin, deshalb ruhig. Nach vorn hinaus laut wegen Passstraße.

El hotel está a una hora de Florencia, en mi caso en el mapa me decía que estaba cerca y por eso lo elegí, llegar desde Florencia es algo lento y lleno de curvas, pero una vez ahí el lugar es bonito y acogedor por dentro, el personal es amable y te ayuda incluso si no habla el idioma, la habitación estaba limpia pero se nota que tiene muchos años, el baño en definitiva necesita renovarse por el estado de los azulejos pero las vistas que consigues con increíbles y hermosas, la recomiendo ampliamente para pasar la noche si no te importa estar lejos de Florencia

Die Bewirtung war hervorragend. Wir bekamen wertvolle Tipps für unsere Tour im Regen und der Wirt bekochte uns persönlich am Abend. Diese herzliche Gastfreundschaft kompensiert den Zustand des Hotels, an welchem die Spuren der Zeit nagen. Für Pilger absolut empfehlenswert!

Un hotel que se ilumina con el sol de La Toscana

El hotel se encuentra a 1 hora de Florencia, en la localidad de Consuma, y a pesar de estar en el campo tiene todos los servicios de un hotel de ciudad (restaurante, asensor, agua caliente, cable, etc). Hay lineas programadas que pasan cada 3 horas que te llevan a Florencia y luego te dejan en la puerta del hotel (La linea azul "S190" usa el paradero "Fortezza" que está a 6 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes "Santa Maria Novella") La limpieza estuvo perfecta, tanto en mi habitación como en las áreas comunes. El personal y la recepción me trataron con mucha amabilidad, en todo momento se dirigieron a mi con respeto, pero a la vez me hicieron sentir como si fuera un miembro de una familia italiana. El restaurante me pareció excelente, la comida se prepara en el momento y puedes ver como ingresan la pizza en el horno mientras percibes los aromas que se combinan de la pasta y las especias. La pizza "Marguerita" buenísima. La mejor parte de mi estancia fue cuando noté que mi cuarto tenía una puerta que se iluminaba por la mañana, y al abrirla me di cuenta que llevaba a un balcón que recibía el sol del amanecer, lo filmé y se lo envié a mis familiares que se quedaron maravillados con el paisaje de todo el valle verde iluminado por el sol de La Toscana. Hasta hoy recuerdo mi estancia como si hubiese estado en una pelicula italiana, y dejando de lado la distancia a la que se encuentra del centro, volveré a hospedarme allí la próxima vez que viaje a Florencia, definitivamente 👌

Perfekte Lage am Pass, Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer, der sehr gut Deutsch spricht. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich. Komme gerne wieder.

Das Gebäude ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und manches funktioniert auch nicht mehr. Dürftiges Frühstück.Kaffee und 1 Croissant ist doch wenig. Für das was geboten wird sind 60€ einfach zu viel.

Its a shame, the property looks like it was amazing back in its heyday and it has an amazing view. The people running the place were super friendly and helpful but super busy, the whole place could do with a really good refurb but saying that it had a lot of character. Overall I am glad we found it and stayed there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Very good atmosphere in the hotel as well as in the restaurant. Quiet and clean rooms. Ideally located to camino francescano. Prepared for us "panini" to take away. Absolutely to recommend for pilgrims! Thanks for all!
