"The beds were hard and the communication was poor so unable to access the Air Conditioning our first night. We left a day early from our reservation since it was horrible. I usually leave great reviews but here the only positive aspect was the view at night."

"Our train was late and the front desk staff, Alessia stayed late just to let us check in. It was very kind and went above and beyond! She also arranged transport from train to hotel which was super helpful due to the train’s late arrival. The breakfast was also very good with some hot selections and cold and fresh fruit. The room was very clean and well maintained with good air conditioning during the hot weather. Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel which had great walking access...

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good parking. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station where you can take the cable car up to the old city. Best if you have a car since there is free parking below the train station and you’ll need to take the cable car into the old city. Breakfast is fair and available daily. Sound travels from the hallway as well as the street below, esp if you have your window open. AC is in the room but seemed to be hard to modify and the room stayed warm....

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved the property grounds and the view of Orvieto. The staff were welcoming and super helpful. During our stay the wifi was not good and hardly accessible, which was frustrating. The posting lists laundry facilities, which we assumed was accessible for guests to use on property, however, it was a service in which we gave our laundry to be cleaned and then ended up paying 25 euros and took over 36 hours to be returned. "We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you.
