We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and functional and we were within walking distance to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. We were awakened early both mornings by noises outside that probably were not under the control of the motel. All in all, we were very pleased.

Great location, nice big rooms - with vaulted ceiligs. The bed was comfortable. It is clear management is working to keep this older Inn well maintained (it looks like it was repainted this spring). The problem with this Inn, at least witth the rooms on the street side is that the rooms are so close to the street that cars and trucks are pretty loud. Literally had to wrap a pillow to help reduce (not eliminate) the noise. So, this Inn is recommended if you can guarantee the parking lot side (away from the street) or bring ear plugs, or look elsewhere

Room was spacious and clean with a fireplace. The fellow at the desk was pleasant. Property is a little dated though and the room smelled like mildew. Parking was free and the toiletries were a good brand however
