Awesome place for a family and pet friendly

This was a great hotel for the area. We were a family of 4 plus a furbaby. 3 queen beds and a futon 2 full baths one of which had a jetted tub. Full kitchen stove and all. Plenty of room for us and about 2 miles from the pier. No charge for our pup either . Clean and safe. Would stay there again .

Our room wasn’t ready for almost 2 hours after checking but they having some staffing issues but they were very pleasant and sweet about trying to get our room ready. Overall a good place to come and lay your head and keep moving.

Our room just needed a little TLC the mini blinds were broken, heater was not working as the night was colder. The beds are comfortable the room is spacious & very tidy, professional staff. We didn’t have any real concerns the room met our needs. Thank you red roof for having us.

Great Motel

This is an affordable hotel for visiting Monterey. The airport was not that noisy, which I had been afraid of. The area is nice and felt very safe. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel that goes to the aquarium. I would recommend this for a quick inexpensive, pet friendly stay!
