This hotel was a little bit out of the small town, which I prefer. It took about 3-4 minutes to drive into "town" so it was very convenient. Upon arrival we were met by the owners' son who checked us in. He was very friendly, spoke great English and was very helpful in making some plans for the next day. He also provided us with a map of the area so that getting around was a bit easier. The breakfast was adequate, nothing to fancy, but none of us left hungry. They have a set menu for each day and so there is really no option. Although you let them know what time you would like to eat and they have it ready at that time...no food that's been sitting around. The beds were a little hard for me, but my husband liked them. They also have an "instant hot" water heated in the showers. Ours didn't work at all and it was a little scary since you could see the wires running along the water pipes. We were there with a lot of family and so we had 5 rooms total. Two of us didn't have hot water (or couldn't figure out how to use it) and the other 3 had no problems. It also had a small reading area and a large room that we were able to meet in as a family.
Overall, it was better than what I had expected based on the price and the "no frills" label. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an economical place to stay.
