Clean rooms but some are quite uphill to get to. Very nice forest around and the trails are nice to walk in. The breakfast at Hotel Ficus next door was great. Ver close to shops and restaurants. Will visit again

Small and cozy room. You definitely experience nature. They provide helpful activities to do in Monteverde. Wish we had more days there. If you’re planning to zip line in Costa Rica, do it in MonteVerde. The staff were very hospitable and responsive. For breakfast they had buffet style. Options were good.

Parking was easy and free. Can’t beat this great location! Shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores are all walkable. Very beautiful forest around the hotel and walking trails. We saw lots of wildlife from our room! The room is spacious and clean and the shower was very nice since it had good water pressure and a large shower head. The staff are very helpful and nice. The breakfast is very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I’d would love to stay here again.

The room was very clean and all the staff are fabulous! The women at Reception are courteous, kind, funny and genuinely wonderful people. I will be back and will stay there again.

The hotel is located inside the forest with wildlife around you. The rooms were clean and the food was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and staff very helpful. The breakfast at the Fiscus hotel was very good . The area around the hotel is really neat - right in the forest . Felt like a cabin. Our only complaint would be the poor lighting in the room. Perhaps LED lights would brighten the room.

It is a clean room.lots of green around it feels like you're in the judge. thats what I was looking forward to. Very thin walls. Uncomfortable bed. It is a very nice area.we didn't drive and was able to get around easily.

I had a great time here- the views and the cabin did not disappoint. We heard howler monkeys, and saw a few animals and variety of birds. The room was comfy and reception was very helpful explaining/planning the activities. Would stay again.

This was a lovely hotel that allowed us to submerge ourselves in the rainforest. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from our porch. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and happy hour was a hit. The staff were friendly and very helpful when needed. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Monteverde.

The greatest. Nicest staff, remote location with walking trails yet easily walkable to the center of Monteverde (which is a cool little mountain town). Getting there earns you triple traveler points.
