Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, check in and check out was super smooth! Having the coffee machine in room and downstairs was incredible helpful especially on a couple of hungover mornings and being right in between 2 subway stops and a few bus stops was incredibly convenient for getting around the city!

We loved our stay at Boxotel. Our room was very clean, and had all the amenities that we needed and more. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. The location is very convenient and walking distance to many major routes! We hope to return to Montreal and stay at Boxotel again!

Loved the layout of the room and how modular all the furniture was. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Location is great and while there was no free parking, it was easy to locate the paid parking lot across the street.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was a cool mix of modern & industrial with the concrete floor amd exposed pipes. Bed was super comfortable, bathroom clean with an amazing Rain shower head. Room balcony and rooftop were great with not a lot of noise from the street. Quiet at night! Super friendly staff and nice small continental breakfast

Room was beautiful and had all the amenities one would need. Also, the espresso machine in the lounge is a great addition. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and accommodating - he went above and beyond! The overall look of the hotel is minimal, beautiful, and modern. Would definitely come back. :)

We loved staying here and will definitely return. Definitely relieved we read past reviews from Expedia users since we hadn’t received the check-in email prior to arriving but once we called, all was smooth sailing thanks to Nabil (who even offered some great suggestions for places to eat and visit nearby). Overall, the hotel feels more like staying at a friend’s cool downtown condo with everything you need to feel at home (including ability to do laundry!). The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was fabulous. We parked at the CÉGEP du Vieux Montréal, which was convenient enough.

The hotel is perfectly located between The Plateau and Downtown / Old Montreal. The room was excellent; it had adequate kitchen amenities, dish washer and full laundry. The room was also clean and very quiet. The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. The gym was the only thing that was rather lacking but it had enough to get a decent workout. The hot tub was also closed, but the saunas were nice.
