"Hotel was in a very convenient location, just 5 minutes from the train station sandwiching easy walking distance of the main or older central part of the town. Plenty of restaurants and bakeries around. I was going to the Monza Racing Circuit and elected to walk. I was slow and of course looking at things and it did take me an hour and maybe 15 minutes to get to the grandstands directly across from the pits and winners podium. It is an flat walk on graveled trails through the parks for the most part. I could have used the bus system and did figure out the app ATM for it. Room was spotless, sheets were crisp and comfortable, room was air conditioned, elevator and stairs were available, breakfast had a pretty good spread with muesli, fruit, cereals, different pastries, salami, cheese and scrambled eggs. eggs poached or soft boiled could be requested. Staff were friendly. Definitely a great hotel for the price."

"The Hotel was about 20 minutes from Central Milan $18-$20 in a Taxi. The staff has excellent customer service. The room was clean (smaller) so check details to make sure it works for you. The Breakfast Buffet is worth every penny!"

"Highly Recommended to every one book this hotel without any fear, it’s newly renovated very neat and clean. Breakfast is good too. Reception staff is outclassed specially James, Micheal and 2 girls (sorry forgot their names). Near to Metro and bus station."

"Nice spacious property, but far from Milan center by public transit. We had two rooms in one of which AC didn't work and a fridge didn't work. We left a complaint, went out and returned and they had not been fixed. After second complaint we were moved to a different room."

"Greater than 600 year old building with original frescoes, tastefully updated. I appreciated the EXTREMELY HELPFUL English speaking staff, food which was awesome. Caveats: 1. San Giovanni Sesto is about 7 miles from the central Piazza of Milan. That 7 miles may take 30-60 minutes for transfer by taxi. 2.Advertised to have a pool(one reason I chose to stay there). Pool is for ambience- lit fountains at night. No swimming. 100% lovely nonetheless."

"We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel is a little way from the centre of Milan, but the metro is right at the end of the road, so perfect for getting about. What we really liked was that the area was so quiet. This hotel also has a nice pool and lawn area. Had 2 aircon units in the apartment but we could only get 1 to work properly. The room also had a good sized balcony with views to the city- in fact we could see the Duomo in the distance! It would be nice to have a small table on the balcony to put drinks on because there is enough room for one. Left an unfinished bag of crisps on the side one night which attracted some ants but the only thing we didn’t really like was the shower. The shower itself was powerful enough, it’s just that the shower enclosure itself was too small and with a rainfall shower head there was no way of washing yourself without the soap immediately being washed away. A couple of hours after arriving we received an email from the hotel asking if everything was ok so far. I said yes, then you could fill out any comments, so i said it would be nice to have a box of tissues in the bathroom…….10 minutes later there was a knock on the door and 2 boxes of tissues were delivered- we were very impressed with that!! We would definitely stay here again if we return to Milan because the area is so quiet."
