"At check in, the front desk agent placed me in a 2nd floor room that was occupied by another guest. I entered the room and there was clothing and trash thrown everywhere. When I went back to the front desk, they switched me to a better view 7th floor room. A little annoying because if there was a nicer higher room available, why bother putting guest in less desirable rooms to begin with? Poor customer service in my opinion and I’m extremely glad I did not walk in on the other guest staying there. The hallways were filthy with dirty scuff marks all over ever single room door and if someone tried kicking them in. The lobby floors were sticky and gross, we could hear our feet sticking to the ground as we walked. The on site restaurant River & Rye was essentially inedible. We ate here twice and both times my order was wrong and just truly awful food. Overall, I was eager to leave the hotel within an hour of being there. There are not a lot of great options for hotels in Shreveport anyway, but I would just beware that while this may be one of the “better options” in the area, still may not be the most comfortable stay. "

"No water in the room, only 1 coffee, button on the Jacuzzi broken, no buffet to eat at just quality completely unacceptable from the past! It was my favorite place to stay but I will not stay again! The staff is very nice and totally understand the complaints! I mean come on no water in the room! You have to bring your own or go To the casino for a tiny bottle of water! New management required!"

"The staff was wonderful but that is about it for this property. The bathroom, upon checking in, was as if it had never been cleaned. The shower was not clean, towels had dirty hand prints on them, and the room was full of dust."

"Walking distance from the convention center. Some staff was kind such as Pat and Jonathan. The property is older but unique. The suites are sized and decorated differently. The jacuzzi bathtub is very old and a safety hazard. Needs replacing. No microwave in the room. Overcharged me and did not adjust. "
