"My room got extremely hot and it would not cool down because I could not shut off the electric fireplace. There were no instructions. There was no one to call in the middle of the night. Also the air conditioning unit did not blow cold. The only way I could clear out the heat in the room was to keep playing with the fireplace switch turn the fan on and open all the door doors and windows. I also could not leave the front door open to the screen because the screen door would not shut and the lock...

"The rooms were clean, gave us 4 sets of towels(so many places gave us 2), towels were refreshed and beds made, breakfast could have been better..not much for fruit, tiny yogurts, had lots of coffee though! The rooms could be bigger, so hard to place all our luggage. Would most definitely stay here again. So close to downtown. We had Elk walk through the hotel sitting area. Complementary s’mores!"

"Quaint motel in great location to RMNP. Bedrooms were clean and staff are very pleasant. The outdoor pool was closed for two days for maintenance which was a bummer. Loved the smores and ping pong table. Breakfast area is too small for number of guests and they need a second waffle maker. Otherwise, would stay again!"

This property is just a few miles from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, so the perfect spot to stay if you're hoping to enter the park before timed entry starts at 9:00 am. Or, if you want to head into the park after timed entry ends to see the sunset on top of the mountains (highly recommended!).
