"Overall, it was a wonderful hotel and experience. Excellent shower !! Carpet was a little threadbare, but you have to give it a pass because of the age of the property. It’s a castle.!! Great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again."

"We stayed here on a visit to Lossiemouth and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel is directly opposing the scenic beach and easily accessible. The staff were delightful and accommodating to our minimal needs. The room was spacious, clean and offers a comfortable stay. We were lucky enough to have a sea view, which was idyllic. Breakfast was at an extra charge but was delicious and set us up for the day ahead. I cannot fault this place and we highly recommend for anyone that wants to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil time away in such a beautiful location."

"My wife and I had a great stay at Craigallachie Hotel. On the day of check-in, Alfie was very helpful. Tom at the Quaich bar was excellent with this recommendations of single malt. We had a very comfortable stay."

"The check-in process would have went smoother if I had checked my email 😅. As I booked through Expedia, I was expecting to have the instructions on my expedia inbox. So, I had to phone the host for the instructions, which she happily provided in a text. Interesting way of checking in, with a code and a lock box. Although it's nice to be greeted, this way saved a lot of time in waiting. The hotel was clean, the smell when entering the room was clean, fresh. Nice toiletries, plenty tea, coffee etc. Kettle and a small iron and ironing board in the room. Comfy bed, at least I slept well. The only downside, for which I've taken a star is that the room next door was very noisy on the day of the arrival, some ladies/ girls, laughing out loud and could hear them as they were in my room. Every time they used the toilet, I could hear the door, water flushing etc...very loudly. After a full day of travelling, I would have appreciated some peace and quiet. I haven't made the host aware about this, there is a note at the entrance to keep it down and respect the other guests, but I suppose, not everyone is considerate and educated. The hotel is in a quiet area, couldn't hear the outside noise, just from the next door. I stayed in rm 4. At the time they were not serving meals, but there are plenty places where you can eat around, one of them is 5 minutes walk and they have a shop there as well. (On the expensive side). But there are supermarkets and everything if you need anything."

"Lovely place to stay ,we were in area for a weekend,staff and facilities restaurant brilliant ,breakfast amazing also , highly recommended,we will stay here again . Nothing a problem for the staff ,we had dog with us and room we had number 11 was perfect for taking dog out at night and in morning next to a wood ."

"The hotel is very tired and needs some TLC. However, it was clean, staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The evening food was tasty and the buffet breakfast was OK. All in all good value for the area."
