Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). I booked this property because the listing shows a central Courchevel 1850 building. In reality, the apartment is in a completely different and inferior location far from the center. The exterior, balcony, and surroundings do not match the listing photos at all — clear location misrepresentation.
At check-in the apartment was not cleaned or prepared: no bed linens, no towels, no toilet paper, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The unit...

"I have traveled to the Les Arcs area many times, but I have never had such a terrible experience. The hotel room was absolutely terrible: dirty, moldy, and not at all suitable for families. The guest bathroom and bedroom probably haven't been cleaned in decades. The furniture appears to be original, and the bedding is stinky. Additionally, I paid extra for the sheet set, only to find it stained, as if it had never been washed. Communication with the owner was also terrible. Please, DO NOT TAKE...
