"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Otter Creek Inn. The Only minor complaint we might have was the size of the shower in unit #5 (the only one we know about). If you are a large person that shower may present an issue. Other than that, our week there was great. Dawn, the manager was always helpful and we shared a few laughs with Evelyn over morning coffee. "The motel is old and not very well kept up. Rooms are small have not seen updates since the 60’s. The carpet smells and there is no insulation so it’s either very cold or hot. It is not close to town at all but there is a shuttle across the street that runs into town. However, the staff is so UNHELPFUL that had I not already known about the shuttle, they would not have offered any information. I paid for my room in advance but when I checked in, she handed me a paper that said I still owed....

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice, quiet tucked away in the woods but close enough to restaurants and various other creature comforts in nearby Bar Harbor. I even extended my stay by a day and that was also hassle free. Y’all rock!"

"Very affordable stay near Acadia. The bed could use replacement (deep sunk in spot in middle) and oddly one outlet missing it's cover. Ice is in the office, so be sure to grab during open hours. The showers worked well, but could be picky to get and hold temperature. It was welcoming, though."
