"We were pleasantly surprised to find this small, roadside motel that was clean and a great rate. The manager was kind and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable. It was like stepping back in time to stay at a Route 66 motel in the 60s. We will stay here again next time we visit Grants. There’s some train noise, but it was not disturbing, and in some ways added to the nostalgic ambiance."

"Property is under renovation which explains some of the negative comments. BUT, the hotel can control the quality of the breakfast. At 7:05am, no eggs were available on the buffet, but the person at the front desk was eating the eggs that were left. This was not an acceptable way to deal with paying customers. The property should make sure it offers great service when it can amid the renovations."

"basic motel a little dated but clean and comfortable. kind of a crossroads location. essentially served its purpose. the asian buffet accross the road was quite good. ordered off the menu as not hungry enough for buffet but still got large tasty portions at a very reasonable price"
