I had to contact Expedia to report the issue and arrange a refund, then quickly find another place to stay on arrival. It was a stressful experience, especially as I was traveling with a child and arrived late at night with no accommodation. Expedia should improve their verification...

"Accommodation was excellent, beautiful view from the room, lovely and clean. host was excellent, can’t say about breakfast as we didn’t have any but it looked good! Hotel is quite a way up a hill so be prepared to get the legs working, we’ve been back 3 days and mine are still aching!!"
