"Cleanliness maintained with daily room service. Good service. Property itself needs to be updated. There was no air conditioning. We were there in the peak heat of summer and it did cool somewhat and just enough to be able to sleep without covers."

The room and facility were clean and organized. It’s not the newest place in the world, but is very well kept and quite charming. I had absolutely not complaints. With the recent heat wave, the fan that was in the room was a welcome treat! Thanks for a very pleasant stay!!"

"This hotel was an amazing retreat during our month long city hopping trip. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, right next to laundry room, excellent breakfast, and even had a private balcony where we would sit each night and reflect on the day. Very close to train station and grocery store, plus our host gave us a handy map to use. "The service was great the food was amazing and beautiful and clean hotel, the only downside is that there is no AC expect for the suite."

"Very noisy at night from patrons at nearby restaurant and general late night noise on the adjacent alley. No AC so keeping the window open at night was preferable but let in the noise."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were polite. The only downside was that everything cost money. For example, you have to pay for slippers that are provided free of charge everywhere. It was a bit far from the city center and after 7 pm, the area was completely silent and nowhere was open. I do not recommend this hotel for smokers."

"Summary: Barely 3 star, not a good value for what we paid ($500/night) The Good: = Great location 3 min walk from train station = Vintage charm = Good breakfast spread The Bad: = Poor maintenance. Mold in shower, doors getting stuck = Room lacked basic amenities like conditioner, lotion = Reception staff seemed clueless, any question needed 3 people to answer. Desk closes down at 11 pm !!"
