"The breakfast is excellent with fresh coffee, fresh juice, and fresh fruit every morning. The value is great. Location is great. All important Cusco landmark nearby at walking distance. The room is clean and warm in spite of the outside cooler temperature, however the bed is a little too soft for me. For someone liking more firm bed, perhaps this bed would be an issue to sleep well. The staff is friendly."

"I had a very unfortunate checkout experience. First off, I had an early flight and needed to leave at 5:15am. Came down to find the front door padlocked and no one at the desk. Someone did come out. Next, I needed to give them my room key to leave. I thought I’d left it on the desk in the room, so he went up to find it. He said it wasn’t there so I went up with him to find it. Key not there. Also not there was the money I left for housekeeping. Basically he’s not letting me out of this padlocked hotel without the key so I offer to pay for it. He says fine but he has to call his boss and find out how much I need to pay. Boss doesn’t answer the phone. Mind you it’s 5:30am at this point and I need to make my flight. Finally I found my key in my pocket and he un-padlocked the door and let me leave. Being held hostage really ruined the stay for me. "
