"Our family booked two nights with this hotel after spending four nights at two other Fletcher hotels in the Netherlands, and we were VERY disappointed!
We arrived to a room that was SIGNIFICANTLY different than the one displayed on EXPEDIA’s site.
When we asked for another room or our money back to use at another hotel, our request was denied and we were offered complimentary drinks.
Being that it was after 7pm, and we had been on the road all day, we had no option but to stay in this horrible room. They were kind enough to provide an adequate room for the second night, however, they refused to refund us the full amount for the first night, and rather offered us a €40 partial refund.
We have spent thousands of dollars over the years with Expedia and sadly, we will no longer be able to use their services after they did not provide the support we needed in this instance. We will also be avoiding the Fletcher family hotels going forward as well.
This experience spoiled our last nights in Europe, and we were hoping this could have been dealt with in a more fair manner."
