"The bed was superking so that was a nice treat! But not all rooms are air conditioned. We were in a standard room and quite warm during our stay. The kitchen in the room was fantastic, it had everything we needed and they give you a cleaning kit too! The bathroom was nice and clean but had no shelves, so there wasn’t anywhere to put your wash bag or place your shower bottles anywhere in the shower. The location of the hotel was fantastic! It’s one stop away from Amsterdam central, it only takes 10 mins to get into the centre and there’s a large tram stop and bus station very close as well!
I only had 2 grievances, firstly when we arrived the sheets were clearly laundered, but there were 2 hairs on the pillows, which personally does gross me out. Then when we were leaving we returned to grab our luggage to catch our train but there was a huge queue for the reception desk. We had to stand around for about 20 minutes before we could get our bags, which meant we almost missed our train."
