"Though built and opened in 2018 the facility feels and looks brand new. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome and served as a buffet style. Location is three stops from Amsterdam Central so very convenient. We would stay here again. "

"The room was good, clean, excellent shower, bed and a desk. Did not try the breakfast. Although the room was great and I will certainly return, some of the other areas of the hotel were a little tired and outdated. No bar on-site is a limitation too because sometimes you don’t want to leave the hotel but want to get out of the room. Location was excellent. Staff was friendly."

"Staff was great. Parking OK. Didn’t do breakfast there. Area around hotel very nice. We were told we were upgraded to better room. I was happy until I got there and began to wonder how the regular room I booked would have looked if I didn’t get the upgraded one. Worn out furniture, paint and pretty much everything really basic and aged. However everything was very clean and comfortable. "

"We wanted to visit Utrecht for one night and I wanted somewhere close to the train station. The price I paid for this is terrible. We are currently staying 3 nights at Artotel in Amsterdam for €40 more a night and you can see the difference in luxury. The only good thing about this hotel was the really lovely person who checked us in. It is not worth the price at all. When we checked in there was a problem with the key cards. We waited 40 minutes while hungry when they could have given us a different room but they wanted to reset the room key fob. I actually feel sorry for the staff and managers because when being charged this much people obviously will get annoyed easily. There is some kind of problem with pricing vs the staff who are understanding. When we came back, we had to change rooms because it wasn’t working. Both rooms were tiny. I booked this so we would have a bigger room in the area close to the station. It is a long walk with luggage through a busy shopping mall. I paid €273. It was worth around €100 max. I would never stay here again even if you paid me to. The prices are not comparable to the area, service and room. Even my teenage son told me when we arrived at Artotel in Amsterdam, ‘you paid €40 more for this, that’s crazy’ - it has a pool, double size of room, a TV built into the glass wardrobe and is right by Amsterdam station. I also had a handwritten note and chocolates. Take that as you will. I do not recommend the Hilton Ulrecht at all."

"Good points - really comfy large bed and duvet, climate control in room was excellent, spacious room, great shower, nice staff, good location for shopping/eating, nice and clean, water dispenser machine at reception. Bad points - view from window was right into an office block being constructed, noise early in the morning from building work close-by, area around hotel was like a building site, noisy street with fast cars going flying up and down."

"I loved this hotel. We stayed 2 nights to see Rotterdam and travel to other locations easily by train (The Hague) and waterboat too (Kinderdijk). I would highly recommend. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind and the location is opposite a main tram stop (Weena) and close to Rotterdam Centraal station. The room was clean and perfect for sleeping and showering in, and the cleaning staff also so kind. 10/10 from me and my teenage son "
