"We were nervous arriving at this hotel as some reviews were horrific! We were delighted to find that the room and en-suite bathroom were absolutely spotless. Yes, the stairs are a bit grubby and *very* steep but so were every other stairs we came across in Amsterdam. Yes, the beds are probably narrower and closer together than some other hotels, but they were absolutely clean and combined with the fantastic location we were delighted at this find. Absolutely recommend it from our experience. ...

"Very central location - only downside is that rooms around the central ventilation shaft hear all the cover stations in the other rooms. The earplugs provided are very welcome. The breakfast (extra) is substantial. Would chose boiled egg and not scrambled to accompany another time!"

"Clean hostel the woman only dorm felt safe with lockers provided that lock , a main door that locks to the dorms with restrooms in their to use . Right around corner is metro and bus stop and easy to get back to airport or walk to other parts of the city . The hostels property is smaller than some with not a lot of hang out space but ok plus side this seemed to keep the noise outside down"
