"Upon arrival at the motel we were concerned , it is currently undergoing major reconstruction and renovation, this is not mentioned in the motels site listing on Expedia. It looks like a demolition site and we were not even sure if we had the right place.
Upon finding the office a friendly enough gentleman checked us in and sort of apologised for the state of the place.
Our room in the remaining block of units was clean and tidy, the only real issue being the tv not working, which turned out...

"Loved our 1 night getaway at Caves. Great views, enjoyed sitting on the front deck. Definitely worth staying more than 1 night."

"Booked a family room for 1 night, 1 Queen bed and 2 singles but was given much smaller room upon checking in, this mistake was quickly rectified. Family Room is very spacious and was affordable given it was school holiday weekend. The room has heating so it was nice and cosy for winter. We were surprised to find Netflix here as well, which was a bonus. Would recommend for a quick weekend getaway."
