"Love the place! Breakfast was great. Need to do a little improvement with cleaning the tables after people finish eating, because obviously the patrons can’t clean up after themselves. Jack in the front desk, amazing!!!! He was so kind and patient to my family. He even explained all the stuff the hotel can do, that we didn’t know about. Such a great guy! "

"The room was quite spacious and a perfect size for two people. However, the customer service was a bit of a letdown. We were in town for a wedding and found that the ironing board in our room was broken; despite calling and requesting a replacement, no one ever followed up. I also noticed that the staff seemed frequently distracted by their cellphones. Even when returning late at night, the front desk attendant didn't acknowledge us, which felt a bit off from a safety perspective. While the location is convenient enough that we’d consider staying again, the service definitely has room for improvement."

"As we got there to check in, we had to wait to get our keys to the room because the computer was down. Then when we got to the room, the room was good! But the toilet had to be flushed like 3+ times to just flush the toilet paper. Then we went down to use the hot tub and myself and the two other ladies went to go in due to our backs and hips having issues, the hot tub was cold! The pool was cloudy and not all that clean! We noticed on the bed next to the window, there was something smeared on the head board! Then we went down to breakfast the next morning and when I had my cereal, after drinking the milk, I found out that the milk was sour! I did not notice this as I was eating only when I finished it! Not the happiest with these issues! Thank you, "

"Manager lied about ability to shorten stay, claiming it was due to me booking thru a 3rd party app then turns around and denies the refund request when my third party provider requested it. Blatant dishonesty is a detriment to the good service this business wishes to provide. Additionally, please train the reception desk staff how to speak to people. I’m not sure if it’s a racial thing but I don’t appreciate being spoken to as if I’m from a different planet, nor do I speak incoherent or unintelligible english. I speak very clearly to asking me to repeat myself multiple times encroaches on micro aggression territory. Not trying to nitpick here, I’m a chill and easy going person but my last stay here turned me off THOROUGHLY, which is a big shame because aesthetically this was my favorite hotel in the Troy area. I would really like to be treated as any other patron… if I ever come back here that is. "
