"From the very beginning, the Balsam Mountain Inn sang to me. I'd never been here before. I wanted a bed and breakfast near the Blue Ridge Parkway; and, yes, something affordable. The Inn is a HALF MILE from the Parkway, and the price was right for our mid-week getaway. Such an interesting, historic place. Between Waynesville & Sylva. So relaxing!"

"This hotel was in a perfect location to all the sites we wanted to visit. It was very clean with ample parking, and it had all the essential amenities to make our stay a comfortable one. The mattress on the bed was a perfect firmness--we slept great and had no backaches. The shower had plenty of hot water and strong water pressure.
