Hotel cancelled my reservation

My hotel reservation was cancelled via email while I was on vacation 5 days before my stay. They could have call, leave a voicemail or send a text message. I had to find a different one at the last minute.

My husband and I didn’t sleep good here because of the roaches that we saw crawling around it had us on edge. Other than that it was an okay hotel.

The property was very close to the bird walk and main area. Other than that, the hotel itself was not the best. We stayed 4 nights, 2 different nights we woke up to cockroaches on the bathroom floor and in the main bedroom area. The gap underneath the door is over an inch and a half big. The air conditioner did not work and we were advised to unplug it ourselves and see if it would “reset”. The unit actually did not have a plug but my husband was able to unscrew the internals and attempt a auto reset. It did give better air but it still wasn’t cold blowing air at any point. Parties in the pool that’s located right outside the room doors several nights not ending until early morning hours.

People were loud outside past midnight hanging out in the courtyard, the beds were extremely loud, creaky and uncomfortable. The TV remote barely controlled the TV, limiting the number of channels. Many people around the area use up the parking spaces and dont even stay at the hotel. The bathroom fan wasnt working at all upon arrivial.

went to check in never received room number or code number never left a email or text had to call 3 times finally got some body to help out untill last call there was no parking had to wait until someone left parking spot that wasn't a guest the place was dirty and felt unsafe to stay there im glad i only stayed one night because i never going to stay at that airbb but will stay somewhere else there was nobody at the front lobby and wouldn't answer the call or text to help you get anything if you might need something the door handle and lock looks like the room got broken into

I had to message the property the day of to get a code for the door. The room was far from what is shown in the pictures and described. The room was very dirty and the noise around the property was very loud. I would not recommend staying here at all.

Room floors were dirty and so were towels provided. Bathroom tub wouldn’t drain properly and sink was dripping. Other than that the property it self was nice and distance from everything was good.

Would not recommend. Rooms were really dirty, the floors made our feet and socks black. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows the worst we’ve ever had. Only a few squares of toilet paper on roll and no extras. Some outlets didn’t work. Cracks in walls, baseboards rotting, one towel per guest, no cleaning service, and it looked VERY different from pictures.

The rating must definitely must be fudged for starters, this place has the worst cleaning staff ever they should be fired immediately. I wonder how they live if this is what they think clean is. For starters I walk into a room and both beds are unmade yikes! Nasty! Creepy! Cringy! I wasn’t sure if someone else was booked there at the same time. Super scary! I had to get my thoughts organized as what to do, I text them they change to room thankfully and also waaayyy out of my comfort zone of cleanliness and I’m not really that picky, I can deal with the shabbiness if I have to but at least be clean and yes it is super shabby and extremely basic actually less than basic to be totally honest. When I arrived there was a man on drugs just walking about I just froze and tried to act like I wasn’t freaked out but thankfully he just kept on going but it’s in a weird spot way worse because it’s off season. The towels and sheets are dinghy ah and the rooms need a really good scrub down the furniture needs to be tossed out it’s trash basically it’s that shabby sawdust cheap furniture that has seen way better days, the mini fridge freezer had so much ice in the freezer that the guest can barely fit one thing in it, no exaggeration. I forgot to take a picture of that but I did take pictures. Yuck is my review never again. And it was very nice outside but freezing in the room, what a nightmare. No iron or blow dryer a real horror show avoid this place like the plague if you value your piec
