On February 20, when I made the reservation, I asked if I could please have a 1st floor room. I never received a response. When I checked in last Thursday, Samuel at the front desk, who was very nice, looked up my reservation and said there was a note to charge me $10 per night. I inquired what was the charge for and Samuel told me from switching from a second floor to a first floor. That’s when I looked up my reservation and saw that after I inquired about switching to a first floor room, I never received a response. If they had told me it would be $10 per night. I would’ve said fine, but since they did not, as a matter of principal, I declined and stayed on the second floor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower could use a little work. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
