The property is easily accessible, and in a quiet neighborhood near the Nairobi UN complex. The breakfast is nice, and rooms spacious.

The staff was very helpful and they went above and beyond to prepare a meal. The rooms are spacious and clean. The AC units are is good condition..the drapes are beautiful and the area around the restaurant has beautiful flowers. There are also well trimmed bushes and private places where guests can enjoy meals with family. Breaksfast buffet is great and guests are able to order an omelet of thier choice which is prepared by the chef. I will definitely go back to this property.

Väldigt prisvärt boende. Gångavstånd till FN. Mycket bra frukost jämfört med närliggande hotell i samma prisklass. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Duktig massör - Anita. Skön säng. The room was cleanly kept, upon my arrival each day. And the staff was always cheery with a smile, very easy to talk to. The room had a minisplit air conditioner that could freeze you out in minutes if you wanted, and their WiFi and smart TVs were modern and fast, didn’t run into power hiccups or latency issues. Their pool was cleanly and they also have nice well behaved cats that you’ll see from time to time just as elsewhere within Nairobi. I really enjoyed being right beside village market and the security for the hotel was always so friendly. The morning breakfast was always a treat, and they also serve supper if requested I believe. They have ice cold beer as well! I’ll definitely be using comfort gardens in my future trips.

Cozy, great staff, and great value for money.

Staff is fantastic. Grounds are pretty, hotel is a bit dated but great value for money. Very conveniently located adjacent to Village Market mall. They also arrange safaris.

Ótima recepção, funcionários maravilhosos. O quarto infelizmente não tinha frigobar, eram poucas tomadas suficientes, a extensão estava com o cabo cortado, o ventilador não funcionava. O café da manhã foi um dos mais fracos de hotel que já fui: poucas opções, muita demora para fazer o ovo (e certa hostilidade da cozinheira) e tudo ficava embalado com plástico, o que tornou a apresentação das comidas péssima.

It was too expensive for what was provided. I made the huge mistake of booking through Expedia. I originally did so to get my visa not knowing it was non refundable. When I realized I was paying twice what I should have I tried to cancel and the hotel refused to cancel without penalty. I would not return to this property nor use Expedia again to get a hotel booking. I felt cheated and it impacted my entire experience. Non refundable is a terrible policy. My family runs a bnb in the US and we allow people to cancel if something comes up and they can’t make it. I felt cheated having overplayed for a property where the internet did not work well and it colored my entire experience.

I am sorry to say this, but I was turned off even before I arrived. In the ride to the hotel, the driver (sent by the hotel) passed us a phone because the front desk wanted to speak to us to tell us we would be moved to a "sister property" and then moved to the hotel we actually booked the next morning. Very odd way to handle a "reservation", but I suspect it is not unusual for Kenya, because this happened to other people I know, at other hotels (including the much-ritzier Trademark). When you have been travelling for 24 hours and are tired and stressed about the work you have to do in the following days, this is not what you want to hear. In this case, we adamantly refused and were given the rooms we booked. There was no explanation and no apology. This has never happened to me before, and I found this really unacceptable.

This was a nice small hotel and staff were great. Breakfast had a buffet with many selections. Very close to Village mall and many embassies. The one downfall was size of rooms for a family.

Right next to mall with everything

I was welcomed with fresh watermelon juice when I checked in. What a nice surprise. Staff was totally wonderful. Every single person I encountered went out of their way.

Nedgånget hotell som en gång låg i ett lugnt område. Servicen från personalen alltför varierad - somliga var oerhört professionella och vänliga, andra tvärtom. Hård säng, ont om varmvatten. Här bor man bara om man absolut måste vara i detta område - som ligger nära FN och många ambassader.

I was disappointed in this hotel, the service was very bad and there were too many problems in my room. I had booked and paid for a studio room, but the hotel provided me a standard room. I tried to ask for a refund since a standard room is much cheaper than a studio room, but the Manager of the hotel was very unkind and did not want to solve this issue. In addition, the wifi did not work for the first two days and after that the wifi was working every now and then. The shower was not working for the first day. As a conclusion, this hotel is far too expensive compared to the quality and service of the hotel. The only good thing is the location.

Short pleasent stay

This hotel is comfortable without being special. The room and bathroom were small, but adequate. However; the room and comfort would benefit by having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It is conveniently located to the Village market for food and shopping (10 minute walk).

Overpriced and very basic

I am here on a short term visit to UN. The Hotel was chosen by the UN and almost all the guests were visitors to the UN like me. The Hotel is actually a fair walk from the UN and not as close as advertised. Food is very basic and quite overpriced for what you get. the room was clean and the staff reasonably polite although I suffered similar problems to other reviewers. They tried to charge me twice and only relented when I produced my Hotes.com receipt and were not very attentive or guest friendly. The hotel in any other location would not be more than £50 per night, there are far far better and cheaper alternatives a relatively short distance away. Whilst the UN gives them all their business they will continue to overcharge and deliver less than satisfactory service.
