A disappointed rewards member

Compared to the rest of the southern sun hotels I’ve used over the years. This is the worst!! The rooms are not appealing, the towels are not clean. They look something between white and brown. The bathrooms are a turn off. The workmanship on the plumbing is just untidy. This hotel needs a serious revamp. The walkways are so dull. It looks so dingy.

extending the checkout

The staffs were very friendly and the breakfast was good, so the rooms in this price range are small, but I used this hotel several times. However, the new staff was not kind (the old staff was still kind) and the taste of the food had fallen. Thank you for extending the checkout to 2pm.

Worth a stay

A garden oasis in Nairobi

I just spent a great week at the Southern Sun Mayfair in Nairobi. The hotel is very secure and provides a lovely garden environment with lots of trees and flowers. An Oasis in the active city of Nairobi. The nearby National Museums of Kenya provide a great outing and are only minutes away by UBER. The Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center are don't miss local attractions. I have stayed here 4 times and the rooms and beds are very comfortable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and efficient providing an excellent environment for meetings and relaxation. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the chef cooks a wonderful made to order omelet. My favorite is a beverage by the the pool, especially at the end of the day when this oasis is cool and quiet. A great place to stay in Nairobi.

交通渋滞には注意

サービスと食事がよいので、いつも利用しています。設備はくたびれていますが清潔ですし、コロニアルなのでこんなものだと思っています。タオルを新しくするだけでずいぶん違うと思うので、検討して欲しいです。周辺の交通渋滞はホテルのせいではありませんが、余分の時間が必要です。

Best at the price

Best Hotel I've stayed in at this price in Nairobi so far. Unfortunately some noisy guests outside quite late into the evening at one point, but otherwise, very pretty, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
