The hotel was in a beautiful galleria in centre of a busy shopping/food area. even though it was stunning architecture, at night the galleria had lots of homeless people in cardboard box homes. Staff at hotel were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, just basic, but we knew it was. Room was clean and up to standard. everything was walkable to shops and dining.

The room was nice and the view into the Galleria was amazing. The elevator is a bit slow and cost 10 cent euros but the hotel gave us 10 cents when we needed it.

This hotel is on the 4th floor of a very beautiful and architecturally famous shopping gallery. Staff is friendly and helpful, location is very close to shopping area with about 10-15 min walk to historic center, and 5 min walk to seaside.

It was hard to find the place. The entrance is hidden inside the shopping mall. They needed to give detailed instructions.,but they did not The room was nice, except the bath instead of the show. I struggled to climbed in and out. The staff was very helpful, good convenient location . I probably will come back

We really enjoyed our stay at the Galleria Umberto. We were worried that we would have to lug our luggage around for a few hours before check in as we got to Naples at 10 and didn’t have check in until 2:00 PM, but they were great and held our luggage for us while we explored the local area. The staff was great!

We enjoyed our stay! There were lots of walkable shops and restaurants around the hotel! It was cool to be able to say we stayed in the galleria Umberto! It was like staying in an art gallery! There is a Castle right down the street. I would highly reccomend this hotel!

The location was good, close to shops, restaurants and the metro so easy to access museums, historic sites etc. The hotel is located within the Galleria, on the third and fourth floors of the building. Not easy to find, but perfectly comfortable and providing good service once you get there.

Not crowded. Near metro, nice part of town. View of grand hall from room was amazing. Only complaint is having to pay 10c to ride the lift. We did not have change when we came in for checking in. Fortunately we were able to ride with someone else.

The area around the galleria is a beautiful, architecturally stunning. The hotel staff was nice and we received a bottle of champagne on arrival. However it was difficult to access the hotel from the street. When we first arrived we had taken the ferry into the Port of Naples, there was not a Porter at the ferry or any clear instructions on how to get to the hotel. When we arrived to the hotel we had to bring multiple suitcases up a large staircase. I had asked the front desk for help but there’s only one person there so they could not leave or help us and additionally said that this service they normally offer. I think for any access points are difficult to bring up bags to the hotel and then subsequently to your room and a small elevator. They really need to have additional concierge services or porters to help bring luggage up. Also you have to use a little coin to operate the elevator which the front desk does give you but this was not told to us. In order to get in and out of the gate you have to press a certain button, again this is not that difficult but no one explained this to us at the front desk at time of arrival

My arrival to this hotel was tragic. My plane was Kate and I came after 12am. Taxi driver threw me out and said - this hotel. But there was no any sign. It was a shopping mall that was now dark, with closed shops, homeless people lying around with horrifying dogs. I went hysterical. Eventually someone helped me to give this hidden hotel. I think thrybfjoujd advised detailed hiccup find them. But they did not. The room was nice, the staff was very helpful. I did not like the high bath instead of a shower. It was hard to climb into it. It was a struggle . But the air condition was working well. there was a tea kettle, nice bed, room cleaned every day, good location, after you know how to find the place. So I will probably come back!

Loved the location, room was clean, bed was comfortable and location is great for the Spanish quarter. Being in the actual Galleria is such a stunning setting. The hotel sign could be a bit bigger as walked past it a few times as it was Sunday and very business with people. I ended up finding by walking up an alleyway outside the galleria which had some interesting smells going on. However, never had to use that entrance as could see the other gate from the inside. Like a few cities, be prepared for unfortunate homeless people who use the Galleria at night for roof over their heads. They never bothered us and just want a place to sleep and would be gone if you get up late

Great location, beautiful rooms!

The location of the Art Resort Galleria is excellent, right on Via Toledo - a busy shopping area with plenty of sides streets with dining options. We felt very safe, there was always police presence around the area and it is very walkable. It is also right by the port, so access to the ferry over to Sorrento is very convenient. Taxis are also available directly outside the hotel if you need to go anywhere else, and was very quick to the train station. The room itself was very beautiful and well appointed. One thing to be aware of - our shower had a large step up and over the tub to enter, which also meant a large step over the tub and down to the floor to exit. The breakfast was not worth the 12euro, but was convenient for a quick stop. There are plenty of coffee/pastry places (and a McDonalds) directly downstairs. We had difficulty finding the entrance upon arrival, it is not highly visibly marked as it is in the mall, and the lobby is not on the ground floor. Make sure you know where it is. The elevator is also very small and very slow.
