"The hotel reached out prior to our arrival to ask if we had special requests. Communication was wonderful throughout the stay, with text messages offering housekeeping service when we still had our do not disturb light selected (no hanging paper signs on the doors here!) The linens were quite nice and crisp, and the selection of pillows was wonderful. I found the mattress a bit firm for my preference and they added a mattress topper. "The location was amazing. We walked to the majority of things. Definitely would say if you are coming for Mardi Gras, a car is not the way to go. Traffic is insane in this area. Everything felt super safe. The hotel staff was super quick to assist with any requests. One of the reception ladies seemed to always be in a bad mood but besides that, everyone else was really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here. "

"Ms. Christine was fantastic. We received a free upgrade to a room with a king size bed, which was adjacent to the common-share kitchen. The room itself was clean and classy. The open air courtyard was spectacular as we enjoyed the sounds of the quarter without the hustle of the crowds. However, we were quieted by the bumping sounds in the night as if some ghost was trying to escape. Great stay and highly recommended."
