"Very nice motel, liked the room lay out, breakfast was good, friendly staff, clean, good location for shopping and restaurants. Two issues that I did have was the walls must be pretty thin. Could hear people in room next to me talking until 2am. I was on the second floor and when someone would flush the toilets above me you could hear the sound of rushing water go through the pipes and it was loud. "

"Check in was a disaster. Lost my reservation even though I showed them my confirmation email for 2 rooms. The front desk guy could care less about finding my reservation. He put me on the phone with someone who claimed to be looking for my reservation but apparently had to log in to one system after another and just kept saying, “1 second” over and over. Great price great stay
" I had an enjoyable stay at the Carmel Inn. The employees and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very attentive. The room was clean and about what I expected for a budget hotel. The only issue I had was the room I was issued was the outdated television which was not a smart TV. But I had my Roku device so I was able to stream the programs I wanted the free continental breakfast was great the first morning, however the remaining mornings it was unattended and only dry breakfast available. Overall the hotel was great. Unfortunately weather did not allow me to use the beautiful pool. Highly recommend for budget conscious travelers."
