"It was my first time staying in a ryokan and I had a wonderful experience. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. It feels serene surrounded by nature, along with the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast were also extraordinary."

"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

"I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again. "

"Overall property was excellent and location was great within walking distance to all the famous temples in Nara Park. However when requesting a taxi to take us back to the train station it took longer than expected and we missed our train departure. Also taxi/car is limited as the hotel is located directly in the park. Walking is faster but with heavy luggage it’s not very convenient."

"The hotel has the most beautiful entrance that makes you feel transported to another place and time. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were clean comfortable and a good size. The beds were comfy. The hotel is also in a good location, very easy to get to places. Would definitely stay here again."
"Big hotel but easy to find once you're used to it. Located centrally of shopping and restaurants. Rooms were clean, staff were nice and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience. Definitely recommended!"
"This hotel is a really great value. There is a train station literally next to the front entrance. Lovely quiet neighborhood but only a short distance to the hustle and bustle of Dotobori. Daily housekeeping is a great perk and on site laundry too. The breakfast is nice but a little pricey, however there is a convenience store nextdoor that is 24h and has all the basics grab and go food you could want."
"As it was our first time in Ōsaka, the location was a bit confusing to get to from Umeda station. This was more due to ongoing nearby construction and how the streets are laid out than anything. The hotel and amenities are all fine - clean room and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful even though we checked in later on in the day. We met up with friends of ours who live nearby so did not utilize the hotels optional breakfast. Our room, on the north facing side along Route 2, was quiet. The bed was large and firm - we slept well despite a overall location on the edge of a very lively nightlife area. Available a few steps away are numerous food / dining, shopping and bar / night club / night life choices."
