This place is awesome. We've stayed here a couple of times and it is always clean, quiet, and SO COMFORTABLE. The beds are awesome. Good water pressure. We're typically in town for events at Basement East so the location is prime. We love The Russell and book for almost every trip to Nashville.

The Russell was beautiful, clean, they had complimentary snacks and water, I appreciated the Dyson hairdryer (fabulous for thick hair). The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. Nice historic neighborhood, quiet.

Wonderful Stay!

My stay at the Russell has been very enjoyable. A beautiful renovated church with stained glass in the lobby makes for a gorgeous backdrop! The staff, although not on site, is very accommodating and truly want you to enjoy your stay to the full! Next time I’m in Nashville, I will definitely stay here again!!

This is the cutest place! Check in was the easiest process and everything you could possibly need is on site or in the room. I love love love that they do outreach in the community with some of the proceeds which made me choose this place. Everything is decorated so perfectly and fun and everything was super clean!! Only one note-If you cannot do stairs, make sure your room is on the first floor. There are no elevators. We knew this so it wasn't a problem for us.

Very unique, clean, and quiet. Comfortable bed, beautiful bath, easy checking in and out. Communication with this property was easy, informative, with quick response time. Great place and Will definitely use again!

Such a unique hotel that brought across the Nashville vibe and really made our vacation special. Super Clean, beautiful decor, comfortable beds, big bathroom and the welcome basket was a nice surprise!

Great Place away from the Zoo

Everything worked--the key code, the dumbwaiter (for the luggage). Room was as advertised with all needed service & equipment. East Nashville neighborhood is much less frenzied than Broadway, which is only a $10 Uber ride.
