"Astronomical prices for an average hotel. The bathroom wasn't super clean and it was super uncomfortable. What is worst that hidden fees were held from my account without my authorization or any logic behind it. We are talking about almost $400 held in between 2 days besides with no prior communication or explanation. The people at the front desk were dismissive. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. "

"Everything was as expected. Nothing exceptional, but very nice, rooms were clean. The fact that my safe was opened and my passports taken along with almost $1100.00 in cash ruined anything nice I could say about the resort. The security could not care less and only until I threatened to call the police did they miraculously find our passports, no money though. Will not be back"

"The staff were fantastic. So welcoming and kind. The location was fantastic. Minutes from the straw market, Junkanoo beach, lots of restaurants, etc. The property itself is dated, but it was well worth the money given location. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus. The lobby parrot was a riot.
Also: Be sure to check out the sun deck on the roof!"

"Overall Baha mar is a beautiful place with beautiful pools, beach, hotel rooms. Plenty to do for kids as well as adults. What is terrible is the service. It is almost impossible to get any type of service wether it’s housekeeping, bar, dinner, or pool service. It is evident why: There is an automatic 15 percent service charge on every bill. For this reason no one at the hotel actually cares to be efficient or provide good service. People don’t smile. I sort of get it. If I was already getting my tip and the most I was going to get on top is an extra 5-10 percent, I wouldn’t have an incentive to service. You will hear the employees talking about guests etc.
Overall however people will still come because the pools, waterpark, and beach are excellent. If you can get by without good service still a good place to come to."

"We were very satisfied with our stay. Everything is within 20 to 30 min walk to the beach and downtown Nassau. Close to West Bay Street, The Fish Fry maket, restaurant is pretty close specially if you like walking. In the evening they have a lovely atmosphere and great opportunities to meet other travelers. Hosting kenny was amazing. This hotel is authentic Bahemian lifestyle and culture. CLose to Arawak Cay."
