One of the best breakfast we had on our trip. It was buffet style and the staff were friendly and attentive. There was a large group touring and I thought there would be no food left by 8:00 but they had plenty of servers and there was no wait! Easy check In and out.

My wife and I stay at the Grand in Natchez every year for our anniversary. Every year is usually a great experience and that’s why we always go back. Unfortunately that was not the case this year. The staff at the desk was nice but when we got to our room it was hot and there was an old nasty fan blowing at the carpet under the AC unit. We thought there was a spill that they were finishing drying up. So we cut the loud fan and kicked on the AC. When we woke up the next morning we woke up sweating and the carpet was soaked. No one informed us that the AC was out or that there was a leak in that room. Breakfast was not very good as the sausage was undercooked and one of the staff asked us at least 6 times if we wanted a Bloody Mary or another alcoholic beverage. Maybe we will try again eventually but this was not a good experience this go round.

I loved the location and within walking distance. The day after I checked in, I noticed the toilet had either not been flushed in a while, meaning room had been vacant or the toilet was not properly cleaned as there was a dirty ring around the water inside. T The bed was very comfortable, the view nice and room very spacious. When I called, I was told no business center and no laundry. Noticed the sign at check out refer to the additional charges for these services but did not use any of them. When I mentioned at checkout, it was brushed off. The ladies that served breakfast -wonderful ladies and good food. I appreciated their humor. Upon check-in- the attendant was very guarded and uneasy. I felt as if I might have been interrupting or taking her away from something more important. The next day she warmed up a little. The pool looked like it needed some care with the water and there is not hot tub. Not customary but the designated smoking area seemed to be right at the front door in the rocking chairs as I had to walk through smoke entering and exiting. Not sure if they were guests or employees. The night I checked in, one employee came out of a closet and was wearing a washcloth on his head and I was not sure if he was injured in some way or this was customary. Overall, I would stay there again. Highly recommend getting an Airemaster for the lobby and public areas, it can make a huge difference in the smell and perception of the hotel. Thank you

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. The bartender was great, friendly and very courteous. Loved walking out the back and being right on the river. Room was big with a great view of river. Ask for top floor with river view and you won’t be disappointed.

A very comfortable hotel. Be warned that they add $14 dollars per room for use of internet, gym etc. For those concerned about COVID, you might like it that you will be served the food and juice at breakfast. They do not let you serve your own food or juice.

I travel extensively for pleasure and when I do so, I ALWAYS look for a property that provides me / us with the following: 1) a great centralized location within walking distance to historic sights, restaurants, shops, etc. 2) good value for my dollar 3) free parking, if at all possible, unless in a major city of course 4) aesthetically pleasing in appearance, clean, quiet and safe. The Grand Hotel met and exceeded all of my expectations. It was all of the above and more. It certainly is not the Ritz, but the Ritz IS NOT what I wanted or was searching for in Natchez or when I travel. I LOVE this level of comfort in my accommodations when I am casually traveling. Very elegant, quiet, clean, safe, great location, free breakfast (a little more than just your average continental breakfast, which was nice), easy parking and courteous friendly staff. Not too stuffy, but very dignified at the same time. I really enjoyed the wonderful view from my large 4th floor river-facing room. as well.

This is an older hotel right next to the convention center and across the street from the River. The hotel and area are historic and the hotel is very well kept up. It had a great breakfast and a quaint bar in the lobby. There is a beautiful park there to enjoy as well.
