Best hotel that we’ve been. The room was perfect with the hot tub. The view was unreal. The staff was so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s quiet and very clean. The food was also amazing and it was fresh.

On the plus side, the breakfast was delightful and the staff were attentive. The pool was also very refreshing. Room was clean and the property well cared for. However, here are several ideas to improve the experience. 1. Larger TV in the room. When lying in bed, it was difficult to read any of the text onscreen. Given the screen distance, I would recommend at least a 40 inch screen. You have the wall space to support it. 2. Additional blankets in the room. I called for an additional blanket on the first evening and was advised that only housekeeping could deliver it and only a couple of sheets could be delivered that evening. Empower your staff to solve problems for your clients. 3. A place to hold luggage - not just on the floor. A table or luggage rack would be useful. 4. An expanded menu. The choices are limited if staying for an extended period. 5. Two of the four pillows provided are too soft to be useful. Regards, Rob Donald

This property is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh and flavourful, the drinks are delicious, the views are unbeatable, but the best thing about it is the incredible people that work there. My husband and I had the privilege of staying with Akre for our honeymoon and we will be regulars going forward. Do not miss out on this gem!

Our stay at Akre was perfect. We were looking for a luxury resort that was away from the hustle and bustle of many island cities and Akre delivered on that. The staff was very kind - they set up a WhatsApp chat where you can ask for anything at a moments notice. They set up a same-day rental car for us within an hour. Food and drinks were amazing - the included breakfast is delicious and includes enough food for both a breakfast and lunch. The pool and private beach are stunning. Can't say enough good things about this place and hope to return!

This property is absolutely breath taking. There are not that many rooms so the pool area is never so packed you can’t find a seat. The gym is breathtaking and the service can’t be beat. Would recommend this little slice of heaven to anyone. 5 stars all the way.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July. It is an excellent hotel located about 11 minutes drive from Naxos town. The service is brilliant. Eleni is so helpful - she went above and beyond what was expected! The pool is gorgeous with a full sea view and perfect for cooling down in the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet, which was important to us. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection and dinner was good too (I recommend trying the prawn pasta which was one of the best dishes we tried in Naxos). Ideally you need to rent a car to get to/from this hotel and for Naxos in general... We had to get taxis everywhere and it was €25 one way for most journeys so this added up quite quickly. The hotel have a private transfer option too which is useful as you can book this in advance. We had a couple of minor issues - for example, the waiting times for the taxis given from the reception staff were inaccurate (we had to wait a lot longer on a few occasions) and housekeeping kept our door unlocked twice, however this did not affect our overall experience. Would still highly recommend!

Our experience was nothing short of breathtaking. From the first look at the gorgeous views to the immaculate but comfortable rooms to the warm and friendly staff, we were in paradise. They took care of our every need. The restaurant was delicious and the presentation beautiful. We loved the unique breakfast board of local favorites. The location felt secluded, though we were close enough to local beaches and towns to have outings. Overall, we would highly recommend our stay at Akre to anyone looking for a comfortable yet upscale option on the gorgeous island of Naxos, especially if you are looking for a private time to truly retreat.

Our favourite stay on Naxos! Went far beyond our expectations! We were greeted warmly by the staff, and throughout our stay were super friendly and helpful. Eleni, the owner, was very accommodating - she went above and beyond for us and made us feel very special! Christos was lovely too! The hotel and property around was stunning. The private beach was so peaceful and the views from the hotel are out of this world. The restaurant, which also serves the breakfast each morning was very good and the service was very attentive. Would love to stay here again!

Spectacular Stay at the Akre Hotel

An amazing experience in every way. The staff was superb. We asked for some accommodations and they were immediately provided. The hotel is a unique property especially the location and the tranquility. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. It’s away from the beach bustle, yet close to it as well. After traveling in Athens and Santorini, we needed this lovely spot to recharge. We would readily return here.

Akre hotel was a peaceful and beautiful oceanfront property with private beach access, a beautiful pool, and private hot tubs for some rooms. The facilities were clean, the staff were very friendly, and the included breakfasts were delicious.

Hotel was in a remote and very peaceful location. Clean & very calming. Beautiful view. Swimming pool was a little in the cold side so not too welcoming. Showing did not always have hot water, but minor. Staff were lovely and very friendly & helpful. We loved the fact there were two young kitties that would join us from time to time. Comfortable rooms!
