"Clean room"

"The room was clean, but very outdated. The sofa was torn and the TV small. It kept freezing up and that was very annoying. There was a card saying new furnishings were on order, but since there was no date on it, we couldn't be sure if it was recent or not. The bath room was awful. Tiny and in definite need of repair/updating. The nozzle in the tub was broken, but we got it to work. Just very disappointing for the money. "Our bathroom had not been thoroughly prepared. Used toiletry bottles and soap, no washcloths, sink not clean, Bobby pins left on counter and a glass of water on desk. Blanket in bed was frayed and had holes. Lamp by the bed had a broken switch."

"The facility is not up to par for the price of the room compared to other hotels across the street. The reception staff were wonderful but when the only elevator broke the manager was rude and unhelpful. Our room was on the top floor and when he was asked about a status update for repairs he said there are the steps. He didn't have the decency to even say I apologize for the inconvenience we are working on it."

"When staying here you have to treat it like a visit to grandma’s 200 year old house. Our room was on the third floor (no elevators) with slanted ceilings and bathroom down three steps. It was quite small and didn’t have many amenities (such as body wash or a microwave) and our window was tiny. The air conditioner vent was positioned next to the bed and blew air directly on us as we slept (quite unpleasant). "This is our second stay and the first time there was a bridal party staying in the hotel and the groomsmen were having a loud and fantastic time! Mainly in the bar downstairs, but also the hallways and the elevator. But, it was a wedding and so we just kind of went with the flow. The hotel itself is clean and the views of the water from the balcony are nice. There was staff when we checked in, but absolutely no parking and this happened last time as well.
