"Nice hotel near Nelson central, quiet if you get s room away from the road. Clean room but the armchairs and carpets are old and need regular cleaning. Comfortable bed, welcoming staff. No lift so I found it hard to carry the luggage upstairs. Restaurant was nice, full on a Tuesday night! Good variety in drinks, meals good too but arrived late as they were short staffed. Overall a good stay for that price, I would recommend."

"The owner/maybe manager is exceptionally hospitable. He makes you feel very comfortable. My room was very clean, bed was great and it was extremely quiet. One block from the town center road. Restaurants and supermarket around the corner. Highly recommend!"

"Nice and clear instructions for my late check in, room was clean and functional with well equipped kitchen. It is very close to a busy road, but there is not much traffic during the night so not a big problem. Close to a nice beach and good restaurants (but avoid the “Italian” nearby, it's terrible. Nice stay! "
