"Rooms were huge, lovely bath in bathroom as well. But the man at the reception was amazing. Had alot of information about places to see and recomendations and even went out of his way to get more for us. Would def recommend this place"

"Great staff and a great room"

"Amazing place to stay"

"Clean room. We were in deluxe. Good value ."

"We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip."

"The room was old, and in need of a refurbishment . I’d like to say that it was clean and well maintained but it wasn’t . The sofa was so filthy you couldn’t sit on it, there was “unsanitary human residue” on the walls and I didn’t feel comfortable being in the room . The pictures on the booking platform are totally misleading and in no way are representative of the accommodation offerings. "We only stayed for 1 night on the way to Adelaide but the hotel was excellent. Our room was huge, the food in the hotel was of a high standard and the staff couldn't have done enough to help us."

"Friendly helpful staff, large comfortable room and shared kitchen facilities. Would definitely recommend"

So the whole thing was kind of surreal as we walked around the prison yard, reading the signs about historic prison life etc. You REALLY get the vibe of being in an old gaol, so don't stay there if you're going to get freaked out by things like that. Beds were comfortable, room had everything we needed, but again remember: prison vibe. On the...

"no one at the office during office hours"

"The room was spacious."

"Good"

"This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier."
