"The staff are helpful. Almost everyone spoke English (not that I expected, but it was nice not to use a translation app). They asked me a few questions about why we were there and told us the easiest and cheapest way to get there. When our train departed late, they allowed a late checkout for a fee. They even helped when my taxi fell through and got us to the train station with plenty of time to spare. "

The owners are very friendly and eager to make your stay enjoyable. They own and operate an ice cream shop and restaurant with typical German food options adjacent to the hotel.
